Job Title: Senior Strategic Improvement Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategic Improvement Coach to join our team at the University of Stirling. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic improvement projects in adult social care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and designing strategic improvement projects, working closely with local stakeholders to design and deliver change initiatives. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the local site/service commits to the active and meaningful involvement of people whose voices are seldom heard and to co-production at all stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiation with the Demonstrator site regarding support and responsibilities
  • Review and synthesise evidence on the topic in question
  • Work with local stakeholders to design the change project and articulate a local 'theory of change'
  • Facilitate the change project on the ground, bringing together key stakeholders to design, deliver and sustain local change
  • Ensure co-production and equality, diversity and inclusion in all stages of the project
  • Support a local evaluator in evaluating the project's impact
  • Work with national policy and practice partners to embed lessons learned nationally
Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent professional qualification or sufficient practical experience
  • Senior experience as a manager or practitioner in relevant fields
  • Extensive experience of leading and designing strategic improvement projects in adult social care
  • Commitment to co-production and knowledge of how to embed these values in practice
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with social care stakeholders
