Job Overview
The role of Enterprise Sales Director - Digital Transformation is a senior position within our team at Version 1, focused on driving Enterprise opportunities in the private sector. The successful candidate will be part of a growing team that generates new opportunities and leads on responses to large technology programmes.
We are seeking a senior Business Development Manager with a pedigree in Professional Services Sales to Enterprise scale customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial flavour and the drive to carve out their own 'business within a business' while having the support of a successful sales and marketing team behind them.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to 'land and expand' new Enterprise customers who are ready to drive digital and systems transformation using the power of digital & cloud. This will involve working with internal Version 1 experts in the areas of Digital & Cloud Transformation and Application Modernisation, as well as partners to create fresh and effective go to market campaigns.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation and delivery of presentations and solution proposals, active management of their forecast and the full sales cycle for each deal they deliver. Contract negotiation will also be a key aspect of the role, covering consulting services, fixed price development and managed services contracts.
As the role progresses, we anticipate that the successful candidate will build meaningful relationships with their commercial counterparts in our strategic partners Microsoft, AWS and Oracle. These relationships will lead to further new business opportunities for the candidate and Version 1.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in IT professional services sales with a demonstrable track record in selling services related to at least one of digital transformation, application modernisation and cloud services within the Irish marketplace.
A demonstrable track record of sales with the achievement of at least 3 out of the last 4 years on/exceeding targets is also essential.
