The Workplace Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Strategist to join their team in Canterbury. As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a focused marketing and business development strategy that targets both existing and potential clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving targets and a strong understanding of how to develop effective strategies. They will be able to work closely with senior managers to understand objectives and needs and to negotiate consensus.

The role will involve:

  • Developing a focused marketing and business development strategy
  • Researching and understanding the needs and structures of prospective clients
  • Planning, executing, and finalizing projects through to their successful delivery
  • Representing the firm and managing associated activities effectively
  • Creating strong credentials, pitches, and advising partners on strategy about bids and tenders

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in legal / professional services firms
  • Proven track record of achieving targets
  • Strong understanding of how to develop effective strategies
  • Experience of working with senior managers to understand objectives and needs and to negotiate consensus
  • Able to make use of digital tools to reach targeted and wider audiences
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Competency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
