Senior Marketing and Business Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Marketing and Business Development Manager to support our client on a permanent basis in the Canterbury area. The ideal candidate will have solid marketing and business development experience within the professional services sector.
This role offers a competitive salary, a performance-based bonus, hybrid working after the completion of probation, a pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, on-site parking, and the opportunity to work with a superb team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a focused marketing and business development strategy targeting both existing and potential clients and identifying suitable opportunities to grow our client base.
The key skills required for this role include:
- Previous experience working in legal / professional services firms.
- Proven track record of achieving targets.
- Strong understanding of how to develop effective strategies.
- Experience working with senior managers to understand objectives and needs and to negotiate consensus.
- Able to make use of digital tools to reach targeted and wider audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Competency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
