About the Role

The NHS is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Coordinator to support the UNISON Branch in all matters relating to union activity. The successful candidate will provide administrative services, including information dissemination to members, staff, and managers on an ad-hoc basis.

This role requires attention to detail, as the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring case progress and notifying branch secretaries of any issues arising. Meetings will be supported by taking accurate minutes, notifying the BMG of outstanding actions, and ensuring associated documents are provided.

Opportunities exist for career progression and continuous professional development. Benefits include 27 days' holiday entitlement per year, rising to 29 days after five years, and 33 days after ten years. Pay enhancements apply for out-of-hours working, shift work, and overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the UNISON Branch in all matters related to union activity
  • Providing administrative services, including information dissemination and documentation
  • Monitoring case progress and notifying branch secretaries of issues
  • Supporting meetings by taking accurate minutes and ensuring associated documents are provided

Requirements

  • 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Mathematics
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in telephony
  • Experience or interest in healthcare
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
