About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Therapist to join our Clinical Research Centre team. As a Research Therapist, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating clinical research projects and other research studies. You will work closely with our research team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for patients in line with research protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate clinical research projects and other research studies
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care for patients in line with research protocols
  • Work effectively alone and as part of a team
  • Supervise and develop research staff and students
  • Contribute to the operational management and development of the research therapist role

About the Team

You will be working as part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team within our Clinical Research Centre. We have close links with The Sheffield NIHR Clinical Research Facility and use of the facility is available to all clinical researchers, providing a specialist environment for the conduct of high-quality clinical research. You will be provided with robust professional leadership and mentorship support to ensure your success in the role.

Person Specification

  • Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to provide high levels of therapy care autonomously
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to vehicle with the ability to obtain business insurance
