Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist to join our Integrated Care Team-Therapy as a Clinical Lead. This part-time position (22.5 hours/week) will involve managing and supervising a team of therapists to deliver high-quality services to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and therapy assistants to deliver therapy services
  • Provide professional leadership to therapists, enabling their development and ensuring high-quality therapy interventions
  • Manage complex clinical and social situations, and liaise with multiple agencies
  • Carry and be responsible for your own clinical caseload

Person Specification

Essential criteria:

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Relevant validated clinical courses to Masters level or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development via personal development plans/file

Desirable criteria:

  • First-line management/leadership course at Masters level
  • Experience of managing change, setting up/redesigning a service, and involvement in research

Special Skills/Aptitudes

  • Expert verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Organisational skills to manage a team and contribute to effective service delivery
  • IT skills to use electronic systems for recording clinical records and other Microsoft packages

  • Car Driver in possession of a Full UK Driving Licence
