Waking Nights Officer for Children with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Officer to join our team at Doncaster Council. As a Waking Nights Officer, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight care and support to children and young people with complex needs
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and senior residential care officers to ensure the highest standards of care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work independently and as part of a team to provide a warm, enabling environment
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT skills and ability to use electronic records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
