Children's Residential Service Manager - Ofsted

Compass Associates is proud to be working in partnership with an established children's provider in residential care to recruit for a Registered Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the launch of a brand-new children's residential service in Doncaster, supporting children aged 7-17 with complex learning disabilities and autism.

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and have overall responsibility for managing the new service. This includes recruiting a full staff team, setting up systems, and ensuring a smooth transition for children when the service opens. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations, helping to develop and establish the service, and pushing it towards a 'Good' Ofsted rating.

Essential Criteria

  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted home with a 'Good' or above rating
  2. NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's Services
  3. Experience working with children with learning disabilities (preferable)
  4. Clear DBS/CRB
