Job Title: Lead Residential Manager - Children’s Home
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Residential Manager to join our team at Brook Street UK. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a residential home for children, providing a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for residents. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to meet the needs of each child, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support services
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive support for residents
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs to enhance the quality of life for residents
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant qualification in childcare or a related field (e.g., BSc Social Work, Diploma in Child Care)
- Proven experience in a leadership position within a residential setting, preferably working with vulnerable children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, and external partners
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and best practices in childcare and youth work
