At Direct Line Group, we strive to make law accessible to everyone. Our legal services team provides support to over 50,000 customers each year, offering a range of services including personal injury, employment, property, and contract litigation.
We are currently seeking a Claims Handler to join our Bromley-based team on a full-time and 15-month secondment basis.
The Role:
You will be responsible for onboarding new customers and assisting in the progression of a caseload of non-injury, non-litigated claims for the recovery of uninsured losses following a road traffic accident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Representing Direct Line Group in the conduct of client matters
- Converting client referrals into customers
- Managing a client's claim as part of a team
- Providing clear and accurate information to clients
- Managing cases effectively to meet team targets and Service Level Agreements
Requirements:
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Experience working in a legal environment or claims handling
- Previous experience of RTA claims and good road awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consistent record of achieving targets
