About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join our Community Children's Nursing Team as a Band 6 Community Children's Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children with short and long-term conditions within their own homes and wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing generic nursing care to children with short and long-term conditions
- Working autonomously in role and leading by example
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, parents/carers, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in the development and implementation of care plans
- Contributing to the education and training of other team members
Requirements
- Registered Children's Nurse with a valid NMC registration
- Experience in team leading and community working
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in paediatric nursing
Working Arrangements
The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work around patient needs. A car owner/driver is essential for this role.
