Breast Cancer Specialist Nursing Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide professional specialist leadership and effective management of resources, ensuring high standards of nursing care are delivered to all breast patients.
Job Responsibilities:- To be an active member of the Breast Care Nursing team, willing to develop new skills and participate in providing high-quality specialist nursing care to patients with breast disease throughout the patient pathway and entire disease trajectory.
- To work autonomously using expert clinical judgement and knowledge to provide informational and psychological care to patients and their families in conjunction with the multidisciplinary teams in acute care, primary care, and tertiary care providers.
- To assist with all aspects of breast care provision in association with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- To act as a nursing resource and provide clinical leadership and expertise as a Specialist Nurse concerning breast cancer and function at an expert level.
This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months, offering a unique opportunity to grow professionally while making a significant difference in the lives of breast patients.
