Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Haematology team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to patients, families, and carers. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals affected by cancer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in haematology nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and possess a deep understanding of the complexities of cancer care. Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to patients, families, and carers.
  • Develop and sustain partnership working with individual groups, communities, and agencies.
  • Support the implementation of the Living With and Beyond Cancer agenda and stratified pathways of care.
  • Facilitate the planning and delivery of care programmes to address patient needs and develop/improve the service.
