About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Breast Care team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist nursing care to patients with breast disease.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the Breast Care team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of nursing care.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans for patients with breast disease.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide specialist advice to patients and their families.
- Develop and deliver education and training programs for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in breast care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to breast care, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as breast care or oncology.
- Significant experience in breast care, with a strong understanding of the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
