Occupational Health Specialist

- Develop and implement H&S improvement projects to drive organisational excellence.
- Maintain and improve our ISO45001 management system standards.
- Lead and develop the Health and Safety team, providing guidance and support to colleagues across the business.
- Regularly report to senior management on key H&S performance metrics.
- Establish the Health and Safety strategy, analysing statistics to identify areas for improvement and drive change initiatives.
- Chair H&S committee meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and communicate their impact on the organisation.
- A commercially aware approach to H&S with a strong focus on practical implementation.
- High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and its application in practice.
- Minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in successfully managing and developing a team.
- Proven track record of implementing safety improvement projects, particularly those focused on cultural change.
