We are looking for a skilled and dedicated School Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Nurse with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN - School Nursing) qualification, you will be responsible for delivering life-changing health initiatives and early interventions that truly make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be at the heart of the Healthy Child Programme, working with a skilled and passionate team to deliver dynamic health assessments, creative public health initiatives, and impactful interventions across schools and communities in Rugby or Nuneaton. You will be responsible for inspiring change with a caring approach, leading the Healthy Child Programme, and demonstrating leadership and the ability to delegate and supervise staff.

Key Responsibilities

We offer a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,884 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including 27 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 32 days over time (pro rata), life assurance at 2 x basic salary, and excellent learning & development opportunities and career progression.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with SCPHN - School Nursing qualification
  • Previous mentorship/preceptorship experience
  • Caseload management responsibilities
