We are seeking an experienced and passionate nurse to lead our Specialist Nursing Team within Breast Care Surgical Services at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is a senior level position that requires a minimum of two years' experience in breast care nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and contributing to corporate objectives while adhering to local, Trust, and statutory guidelines and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to corporate objectives by acting within local, Trust, and statutory guidelines and policies.
- Hold professional accountability for the Surgical Breast Care Nursing Service.
- Contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team discussions, care planning, and decision-making to provide seamless coordination and patient care across the patient pathway.
- Demonstrate highly developed communication skills to maintain high-quality service within a complex and challenging environment.
- Minimum two years' experience in breast care nursing at a senior level.
- Breadth of knowledge and experience with clinical governance processes, patient safety, staff development, and quality assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of NHS Breast Care Services and clinical strategy.
- Agenda for Change (AfC) Band 8A starting salary with incremental pay progression (£52,807 - £72,506).
- 27 days annual leave/year plus bank holidays, increasing with long service.
