The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking a skilled administrator to join their team as an Education and Programme Coordinator.

About the Role

This role will provide high-quality administrative support to staff and students within the Faculty, focusing on various aspects such as course administration, committee meetings, events, and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to faculty staff, including coordinating meetings, preparing documents, and managing emails;
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping, utilizing Microsoft Office applications and SITS/e:Vision student records management system;
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and external customers, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Work collaboratively within a diverse team, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment;
  • Stay organized, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Proven experience in office administration, preferably in a higher education setting;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly;
  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities;
  • An understanding of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
