Job Description

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Poundland & Dealz is seeking a Charities Programme Coordinator to support the growth and impact of our charitable initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in managing enquiries and supporting with all aspects of the charity's day-to-day functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Charity Foundation Manager in the administration of the charity and its grant-making activities
  • Empower colleagues, customer and supplier fundraising efforts
  • Strengthen relationships with our charity partners and grant recipients
  • Create engaging printed and digital content to raise awareness of the Poundland Foundation
  • Recruit participants and support fundraising events
  • Manage grant and fundraising administration, maintain the CRM system, track expenditures, and assist in preparing reports for the trustee board

Requirements:

  • Fundraising Knowledge: Familiarity with various fundraising strategies, techniques, and compliance requirements
  • Communication and Engagement: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for engaging diverse audiences
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for developing and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, colleagues, and beneficiaries
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • IT Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms
