About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Psychological Therapist Consultant to join our team at Psicon Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evidence-based therapies, such as CBT and systemic approaches, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including enhanced annual leave, flexible working hours, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • To develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each client.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to relevant legislation and professional standards.
Requirements
  • A doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Extensive experience in providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to children and young people with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
