Forensic Rehabilitation Consultant Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Forensic Rehabilitation Consultant. In this role, you will work with individuals who have offended in the context of a mental disorder or may be at risk of doing so. You will carry out comprehensive assessments and develop individualised rehabilitation plans to support these individuals in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs;
- Developing and implementing individualised rehabilitation plans;
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care;
- Providing education and training to patients and families about occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
Requirements:
- New Zealand registration as an Occupational Therapist;
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate;
- Experience working in forensic mental health or a similar setting;
- A full New Zealand driver's license;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
