About This Opportunity

We invite applications from experienced occupational therapists for a full-time position at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury.

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

You will be responsible for assessing and rehabilitating patients in a secure forensic inpatient admission unit, using your skills and expertise to make a positive impact.

  • Your main duties will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individualized interventions.
  • You should have extensive experience working within a mental health setting, preferably in a forensic context.

This role is based at Hillmorton Hospital, with regular working hours from Monday to Friday.

Key Qualifications:
  • New Zealand registration with the Occupational Therapy Board
  • Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Current full driver's license
Work Environment:

Hillmorton Hospital, Christchurch

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday, core business hours

Compensation Package:

$65,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with your experience
