**About the role**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an NDLS ADHD Administrator to join our ADHD Service in Canterbury.

**Reports to**: ADHD Team Leader

**Responsible for**: This post has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Principle duties and responsibilities**

Meeting and greeting clients, patients, families and other visitors.
Ensuring waiting area remains a calm, welcoming and a clean and tidy environment.
Check premises for clinicians prior to leaving and alert remaining staff if anyone is still on the premises.
Lock all areas not in use at the end of the day.
Managing NHS prescriptions including scanning, logging, and ensuring there is an audit trail for each prescription.
Coordinating repeat prescription requests, ensuring doctors complete these in a timely manner so patients have adequate supplies of medication.
Escalating enquiries from patients in relation to medication including concerns and reports of side effects.
Carrying out audits in relation to the ADHD service and prescription administration.
Liaising with facilities coordinator in relation to medical equipment supply, service and calibration.
Keeping IAPTUS up to date with pharmacy, GP and medication details.
Dealing with patient enquiries.
Adhoc administrative tasks as required by the service.
Ensuring smooth running of the ADHD clinic.

**Person Specification**

Experience of working within a customer focused administration role.
Excellent interpersonal & judgement skills.
Experience of working to KPI targets and tight deadlines whilst balancing competing priorities within a busy environment.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a calm professional demeanour.

Committed to providing the best quality service and achieving the highest standards of client care.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals.
Able to establish and maintain productive professional relationships with colleagues.
