Medical Secretary Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust for a Medical Secretary Specialist post within the Stroke department.
Main Objectives- Coordinate patients through their treatment pathway ensuring compliance with National Cancer waiting time standards, diagnostic standards, and internal targets.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to consultants and their teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Secretary Specialist. As a key member of the Stroke department team, you will be responsible for coordinating patients through their treatment pathway and providing administrative support to consultants and their teams.
Requirements- GCSE A-C
- Computer literate including Word and Excel and use of software packages eg, outlook for updating calendars NVQ
- Level 2, RSA level 3 or equivalent
- Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
- Competitive benefits package
You will need to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, as well as having excellent communication skills and knowledge of NHS systems, including All Scripts/PAS.
