Child and Family Therapist

Role Overview
This position requires expertise in assessment and treatment of children and young people and/or families with mental health conditions and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
Your duties will include carrying out therapeutic work, acting as a core member of the Child, Young People and Family Service at Psicon, contributing to the smooth running of services, and considering service development opportunities with the management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking psychological assessment and formulation of children and young people and/or families, offering psychological treatment to children and young people as well as their families where appropriate, and exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients.
Key Skills:
- Assessment and treatment of children and young people and/or families with mental health conditions and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Carrying out therapeutic work using CBT, Systemic, and Psycho-dynamic models.
- Acting as a core member of the Child, Young People and Family Service at Psicon.
