Job Title: Clinical Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Consultant to join our team at Psicon Ltd. As a Clinical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and therapy services to children and young people with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic models, including CBT, Systemic, and Psycho-dynamic.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent) is essential.
  • Registration with the UK's Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist is required.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in psychology is expected.
