Role Summary

This Clinical Psychologist role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people. As a key member of the Child, Young People and Family Service, you will provide expert psychological assessments, direct interventions, and indirect clinical work to support clients and their families.

Key Accountabilities
  1. To conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for children and young people with mental health conditions or neurodevelopmental disorders.
  2. Deliver high-quality direct psychological interventions, including individual and family therapy, using evidence-based approaches such as CBT and Systemic models.
  3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practice standards in psychology across the service, through active participation in CPD training and collaboration with the Director and HR & Operations Manager.
Essential Requirements
  • A recognised qualification in clinical psychology and relevant experience working with children and young people with mental health conditions or neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.

  • A highly competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
