We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist to join our team at Rochdale Council. This is a full-time Temporary role for the next 1-2 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the service in the locality area and perform reception duties in service buildings.
- Meet and greet service users, signpost to sessions and services, answer phone queries and email parents and professionals.
- Collect data from service users, set up the environment for meetings, and maintain accurate records.
- Use local authority IT systems, including word, excel, PowerPoint, and liquid logic, to input data and generate reports.
- Collate documentation and presentation information as required, and assist with documentation for inspections or peer reviews.
- Provide direct admin support for relevant staff and the service, including organization of meetings, correspondence, minute taking, and circulation of minutes and associated papers.
- Ensure the provision of hospitality for meetings, training, and crèche as required, including room setup and facility/IT requirements.
- Manage reception cover and administrative support for other service buildings across the borough as needed.
- Support staff from partner agencies with appointment bookings and distribution of information.
- Ensure the maintenance of data integrity and confidentiality through adherence to relevant guidance and legislation.
- Recent experience as a Receptionist/Administrator.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and internal Council IT systems.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the public, staff, and managers.
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service.
