Company Overview

Genius Sports, a leading digital marketing solutions provider to the iGaming industry, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager - EMEA to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth across Europe.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report into the Head of Sales, EMEA, and be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities within the iGaming market. This includes maximizing new business development opportunities from existing clients, clearly conveying Genius Sports' digital marketing portfolio to new clients, negotiating new contracts, and establishing strategic relationships with senior marketing decision-makers and their agencies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pre-defined territories in Europe
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue growth objectives
  • Negotiate new digital marketing product contracts with key clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior marketing decision-makers and their agencies
  • Represent Genius Sports at industry conferences and events to seek out new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the account management team to ensure up-sell opportunities are maximized
  • Provide regular reports detailing new business successes and future strategies to grow revenue
  • Meet or exceed personal new business revenue targets

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of new business sales experience in marketing software and/or services
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic media buying, DSPs, DMPs, and DCO
  • Prior experience selling programmatic services is highly desirable
  • Preferred qualifications include prior book of business with key brands or clientele in the iGaming and/or betting sectors
  • Understanding of overall marketing practices and principles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of successfully over-achieving sales targets
