Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Children's Community Healthcare Professional to join the Children's Community Team for People with a Learning Disability (CCTPLD). This exciting opportunity involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver specialist healthcare services for children with learning disabilities.

About the Job

This 12-month maternity leave post offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing specialist assessment and intervention to patients with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Community Nursing Team, holding a caseload of individuals with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and have experience of working with people at all levels. A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are also essential requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a range of issues related to physical health and emotional wellbeing
  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to patients with learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with the person, their network of care, and the multidisciplinary team
Requirements
  • Recognised nursing qualification - RNLD
  • Experience of engaging and communicating effectively with people at all levels
  • Holds a valid UK driving license

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and career development opportunities.
