Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager Opportunity

Lipton Media, a specialist media recruitment agency based in London, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager to join their team. This role involves selling high-value sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to clients across the Italian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, planning and tailoring marketing activities to grow year-over-year spend.
  2. Generate new business, increase pipeline, and bring on new prospects through consultative selling.
  3. Sell high-value sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to clients.
  4. Pitch clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings.
  5. Attend competitor events, traveling to the US, Asia, and Middle East.
  6. Act as a market specialist, staying up-to-date with industry knowledge through internal and external resources.
  7. Utilize consultative selling techniques to sell creatively and through solution-led selling.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in b2b sponsorship sales, ideally from a large-scale expos background delivering over £1m in revenue a year.
  • Fluent in Italian.
  • Strong new business and account management capabilities.
  • Degree educated, ideally.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Successful track record achieving high revenue targets.
  • Consultative sales approach is essential.
