Job Description

The European Sponsorship Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Sponsorship Director to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our commercial sponsorship strategy, working closely with our stakeholders to identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial sponsorship strategy that aligns with the Association's overall business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating contracts that deliver value for money.
  • Lead a team of commercial sponsorship professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of sponsorship projects.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring that their needs are met and that they continue to receive value from their sponsorship.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of sponsorship activities, providing insights and recommendations to inform future strategy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial sponsorship, with a strong track record of securing new business and delivering value for money.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
