Election Support Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Election Support Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth delivery of elections and electoral registration. Your responsibilities will include processing statutory registration and voting applications, providing technical advice to stakeholders, and delivering high-level administrative support for elections and electoral registration.

Main Tasks:

  • Processing registration and voting applications
  • Providing technical advice to stakeholders
  • Delivering administrative support for elections and electoral registration

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Electoral Administration or willingness to work towards it
  • Experience working in an Electoral Services Team or similar role
  • Knowledge of electoral legislation and associated guidance and software systems

Salary:

£31,586 (Level one) rising to £34,314 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part-time)
