Administrative Support Specialist

We are recruiting for an Administrative Support Specialist to join our client's dynamic and collaborative team in the energy industry. As a key member of the Claims Team, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure efficient claims processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, and distribute all new claims promptly and accurately
- Handle incoming and outgoing post efficiently
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and disbursements to maintain accurate financial records
- Update the claims database using established procedures
- Maintain the claims archive system meticulously
- Respond to verbal and written queries from internal and external customers
- Handle calls related to Road Traffic Accidents in adherence to established procedures
- Provide general administrative support to the Claims Handlers
Requirements:
- Previous clerical and administrative experience with strong attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A confident telephone manner for effective customer communication
- Ability to work independently, showing initiative even in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
