We are seeking a highly experienced Radiographer to join our team as a Deputy Manager for the Radiotherapy Department. As a key member of the department management team, you will play a crucial role in the operational management of the radiotherapy treatment and pre-treatment service.

Main Responsibilities

As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Radiotherapy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the department. This will include supervising procedures, maintaining standards, and ensuring staff are up-to-date with operational and technological developments.

You will also be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring they meet the required standards and codes of conduct.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Radiographer with a strong background in operational management. You should have experience of leading treatment/pre-treatment teams, introducing new technologies into clinical services, and developing specialist training programmes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as leadership skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
