- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement an engaging, robust curriculum that enhances literacy skills and inspires a love of English in all students.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and drive student progress, implementing strategies to close attainment gaps.
- Teaching Excellence: Ensure consistently high-quality teaching practices across the department, supporting teachers in refining their pedagogy.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior leadership to align departmental goals with whole-school improvement priorities.

- Teaching Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with extensive experience teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
