Main Responsibilities

As an Orthoptist Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking the investigation, diagnosis, and management of patients referred to the Orthoptic Department at Bristol Eye Hospital and Weston General Hospital. This will include a wide range of complex cases from general and specialty clinics, such as paediatric, motility, neurology, adnexal, and Accident and Emergency.

  • BSc Orthoptics or Equivalent
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Teaching qualification
