We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the investigation, diagnosis, and management of patients referred to the Orthoptic Department.
Main Responsibilities- Investigate and diagnose patients with complex visual and ocular motility defects
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a wide range of conditions
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the clinical training of Orthoptic undergraduates and other medical, optometry, and nursing staff
- BSc Orthoptics or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Teaching qualification
- Relevant Orthoptic experience in acute and community settings
