Job Summary

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of mental health professionals, providing clinical supervision and guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality evidence-based treatments.

The Clinical Lead will work closely with the Team Manager to develop and implement clinical strategies, monitor and evaluate team performance, and provide expert clinical knowledge and skills to support the team in delivering complex and high-risk interventions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working with children and adolescents with co-morbid difficulties and special needs, including neurodiverse presentations. They will also have a strong understanding of risk management and be able to integrate complex presentations into coherent formulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the team
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve team performance
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance
  • Provide expert clinical knowledge and skills to support the team in delivering complex and high-risk interventions
  • Work closely with the Team Manager to develop and implement clinical strategies
