Job Summary

The Clinical Lead for Endoscopy plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care within the specialty. Reporting to the Medical Director, this individual works closely with the Director of Operations and Director of Nursing to provide clinical leadership and expertise in the provision of insourced endoscopy services.

Main Responsibilities

As a subject matter expert, the Clinical Lead provides clinical leadership to consultants within the specialty, ensuring the maintenance of exacting clinical standards and care provision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a clinical lead and subject matter expert across endoscopy insourced services, providing advice and input to operational planning of new contracts.
  • Promoting and advocating for the company within clinical networks and wider, to maximize opportunities for business development and engagement with existing and potential customers, partners, and clinicians.
  • Supporting the Medical Director and Director of Nursing in the management of clinical teams, including conduct reviews, incident investigation, disciplinary hearings, and other clinical governance processes.
  • Leading on audits, review of KPIs, and ongoing maintenance of clinical standards and care delivery.
