Job Summary

The Clinical Lead for Endoscopy plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care within our insourced endoscopy services. Reporting to the Medical Director, this individual will work closely with the Director of Operations and Director of Nursing to drive clinical excellence and advocate for the company within clinical networks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to Consultants within the specialty, ensuring adherence to exacting clinical standards and care provision.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across endoscopy insourced services, providing advice and input to operational planning and contract development.
  • Promote and advocate for the company within clinical networks, identifying opportunities for business development and engagement with existing and potential customers, partners, and clinicians.
  • Support the Medical Director and Director of Nursing in management of Clinical Teams, including conduct reviews, incident investigation, and clinical governance processes.
  • Lead on audits, review of KPIs, and ongoing maintenance of clinical standards and care delivery.
Person Specification
  • Endoscopy Consultant with at least 2 years' experience post-CCT.
  • Exceptional clinical standards and JAG KPIs, with credibility among peers.
  • Experience of complaint management and governance.
  • Experience of networking and business development.
