**Job Overview**
Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented Consultant Oncologist to join our team as a Clinical Lead in Cancer Research. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Cancer Studies, enhancing cancer research activity across data sciences, biology, genomics, health sciences, and population health.
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Cancer Studies is a collaborative centre for cancer studies between the University of Essex and MSEFT. Our mission is to use data to answer real-world questions and improve patient outcomes and experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Oncologist with expertise in lung and melanoma to work clinically in our Oncology Department while leading research initiatives. We are looking for someone with knowledge of cancer data and its potential use in service improvement.
**Salary:** £150,000 - £200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
