Deputy Apprenticeship Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Apprenticeship Manager to join our team at New College of the Humanities Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Academic Director in leading and managing the delivery of Apprenticeships and Work-Related Learning (WRL) programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Academic Director in representing Apprenticeships and WRL academic provision.
- Monitor academic delivery of programmes and courses, maintaining and enhancing academic standards and quality of teaching and learning.
- Set expectations for faculty and provide detailed guidance and training.
- Plan faculty workloads and undertake hiring and induction.
- Manage faculty feedback and career progression, including Annual Review meetings.
- Initiate, develop, and monitor performance improvement plans as needed.
- Work with the Academic Director and other relevant colleagues to ensure a high-quality and joined-up experience for learners and partners.
- Coordinate with members of the wider university and external institutions, particularly Apprenticeship partners.
- Uphold and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Perform any further duties as specified by the Academic Director, responding flexibly to changing circumstances.
- Experience of high-quality teaching, pedagogy, and scholarship in an area relevant to at least one of the Centre's programmes.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality programme and course documentation.
- Ability to engage confidently with academic and professional communities.
- Excellent IT skills and evidence of supporting the integration of technologies into learning, teaching, and scholarship.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
