Healthcare Unit Manager

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver high-quality care to residents with complex needs.
\About the Role: In this position, you will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to manage the unit's clinical elements, risks, and staff supervision. You will also be responsible for ensuring that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner.
\Responsibilities:

- Lead the nursing team to ensure high standards of care are maintained\
- Manage medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal\
- Act as the Named Nurse for allocated residents, overseeing their care profiles and updates\
- Supervise and manage staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations\
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements\

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care, excellent clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work confidently on your own initiative.
