About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as an Infection Prevention and Control Lead Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of patients and families across our hospitals.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our efforts in preventing and controlling infections within our hospitals. This includes developing and implementing evidence-based policies, conducting audits and surveillance, and providing expert advice and guidance to our teams.

You will work closely with our Deputy Director of Infection Prevention and Control to drive forward our infection prevention and control strategy and ensure that our hospitals remain safe and healthy environments for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based infection control policies and procedures
  • Conduct audits and surveillance to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our teams on infection prevention and control best practices

We offer a competitive salary of £68,000 - £78,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
