Lead Nurse for Healthcare Safety

**Job Description**
We are looking for an experienced nurse leader to join our team as Lead Nurse for Infection Prevention and Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Trust's infection prevention and control efforts, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing expert advice to medical staff and other clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infection prevention and control, with experience working at a senior management level within the NHS. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff and other clinicians.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the Trust's infection prevention and control efforts, developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to monitor and improve infection control practices
- Provide expert advice and guidance on infection prevention and control to medical staff and other clinicians
- Work closely with senior leadership teams to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services
**Qualifications and Experience**
- RN qualification
- Teaching certificate or equivalent
- Experience working at a senior management level within the NHS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
