We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join our Oncology unit, providing administrative support to our team of healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Palliative Care and specialty teams at Woodlands Hospice and Aintree University Hospital under minimal supervision.
  • Organise your workload and co-ordinate activities with other medical secretaries to ensure an efficient service is provided.

You will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the service, using your initiative, judgment, and tact to deal with queries and resolve situations. You should be able to communicate professionally at all levels and have excellent organisational and IT skills.

Requirements:
  • Experience working in an NHS office environment as a medical secretary.
  • Experience supervising and motivating a team.

The salary for this position is £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, depending on experience.
