About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Transformation Expert in Rheumatology to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving medical excellence, improving patient outcomes, and advancing our clinical capabilities.
Salary and Benefits
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team with a competitive salary of £59,175 - £95,400 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
Job Description
Main Duties
- Acute Medical Unit (AMU): Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute medical conditions, ensuring prompt and effective care.
- Medical Assessment Unit (MAU): Evaluate patients referred by GPs or Emergency Department teams, providing timely and appropriate care.
- Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC): Provide expert care to patients requiring same-day emergency services, minimizing hospital admissions and improving patient flow.
- Acute Assessment Unit (AAU): Rapidly assess, investigate, and treat patients admitted via the Emergency Department or GP referrals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in rheumatology or a related field.
- Full GMC registration and completion of ST3 training in acute medicine.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
- A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and driving medical excellence.
