We are looking for a Test Lead who will plan, monitor, and lead the testing for the Finance, HR and Legal vertical. You will work with a team of offshore quality engineers and manage onshore testers (team sized according to project) within your vertical. The Lead is responsible for the success of the projects including the project testing costs and burn rate.

**In this role you will**
- Be responsible for ensuring any technology change is successful, and the appropriate level of quality assurance is undertaken.
- Work with Delivery and Solution Leads to define the relevant teams required to support any new initiatives including providing ROMs to facilitate the project Capex requests.
- Develop the Test strategy and approach for each project (of which there could be numerous running in parallel) in their vertical along with the scope of testing for each release or phase.
- Define the plan for the testing including the resources required to deliver against the plan and will assign work accordingly to the relevant offshore and onshore teams as dictated by the plan.
- Own and deliver any testing requirements for the Finance, HR and Legal vertical as well as work with test leads in other verticals to ensure overall testing strategy is achieved, and standards followed to conform with enterprise guidelines.
- Stakeholder manage and will be the front line for all testing escalations to the Delivery Lead
- Need to work effectively with the Project Manager and Delivery/Solution Lead to determine which types of testing (e.g. API, non-functional, UAT) are required including resources.
- Ensure a shift left strategy is implemented across projects.
- Ensures that all test phases have appropriate entry / exit criteria and monitors achievement of these. The definition of the business solution acceptance criteria and sign-off against these prior to go-live.
- Escalate any risk to strategy or governance or to the COT Lead.
- Support the Assurance team with any compliance checks for their vertical or SOX
- Be responsible for engaging any 3rd party support that may be required to size up the team for initiatives in their vertical.
- Ensure team alignment and team collaboration across the US, UK, India and Sri Lanka
Project delivery can be based on a waterfall approach but the role will also require agile/SCRUM knowledge as it will require working with team members who are part of an agile/SCRUM team.
**Knowledge, skills, experience, and competencies**
- Robust knowledge of the QE practice.

- Deliver to time, cost and quality consistently across multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate with all stakeholders being able to escalate and articulate critical risks to director level as required.
- Implement clear Test Strategies and audit and risk control policies across teams.
- Strong process management and control skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service awareness focus.
- Makes customer-oriented decisions.
- Understanding of project development methodology
- Working knowledge of agile/SCRUM methodology.
- Understanding of ITIL service delivery framework.
- Understand Automation testing.
- Awareness of Performance testing.
- Understand API testing.
- Knowledge of testing in Devops.
- Knowledge of test tools (eg. Automation tools, JIRA/QMetry).
